Shared building, distinct identities

Dreamscape helped establish The Sanctuary as a full-scale rave destination in the early 1990s. Helter Skelter later built a sustained identity there, while other promoters contributed their own audiences, line-ups and visual languages.

The archive will not merge these histories. A flyer or recording belongs to the promoter and event named on it, even when the venue and many performers were shared.
